You ll be working out on the front-line within the attraction, welcoming, greeting, interacting with, and helping our guests at every opportunity, ensuring they get the absolute most from their visit. \n\n Our attraction gets very busy at times, so you ll be managing queues, guest flow and helping everyone have the best experience, trouble shooting and tackling problems quickly and efficiently.  \n\n On a typical day (if you can call it that!) you will ensure our guests have an intimate Ocean experience through fun, up close storytelling with hands on interaction. You could find yourself delivering entertaining and informative talks to our guests, inspiring the future generation, dressing up in costume characters as well as delivering school workshops, birthday parties and our premium experiences. \n\n You ll support the Guest Experience Manager with the daily running of the department. This means supporting with morning briefs, coordinating the team during the day, conducting departmental open and close procedures, and taking the lead with operational problems, guest complaints and finding solutions to getting things back on track.  \n\n As the team leader, you ll also be a role model for the wider team, buddying up with new team members and providing ongoing coaching and training to the team, setting an example of what great customer interaction is. \n\n This is a full-time permanent role, working any 5 days from 7, including working a regular fair share of weekends and bank holidays as required. \n\n About you \n\n As a team leader, you ll need to shine above the rest when it comes to customer service and interaction as you ll be role-modelling what great looks like. \n\n Therefore, it goes without saying that you ll already have loads of experience working in a busy customer facing environment where the customer experience is at the heart of everything.
