Really enjoyed looking at the pictures of St. Leonards and Hastings. I left the area in 1947, and at the time worked at the Queens Hotel, Hastings, also Victoria Hotel, St. Leonards. Thanks.

I was born and went to school in Hastings. I left in 1999. Sometimes I feel really homesick but now I've found this website it doesn't hurt so much.
Thankyou

Nice photos on this site. Especially of the Old Town. Moved out of Hastings in Jan 95, and only been back a couple of times. Looks like its changing at a fast rate.

I worked in Hastings (Ashdown House) from 1977 to 1981 before coming to Adelaide. Lived on the Marina and later on in Exmouth Place.
The photos bring back lots of memories of good times. Is French's wine Bar still operating in the town centre? I used to LOVE that place - best pub in the world!
Good website - thanks for the memories!
Cheers

I studied at The Continental College back in 65 - living at Mr. Duck's house. Every night we visited a small club opposite the library I think. Anybody emmbering that time - give me an e-mail. Does anybody know the whereabouts of Doris Stevens of Hollington Old Lane?
Spend a most wonderfull summer later in the 60's. Came back with my family a couple of years ago to find Hastings a little rusty, to have my car robbed and to go home dissapointed. Want to get the happy memories back. Can you help?

I was born in St leonards in 1963 but in my late teens could not wait to move out of the place. The strange thing is after all these years in London I am buying a house in West St leonards, London is not all its cracked up to be. After many years of neglect Hastings and St leonards looked and was a very sad place always playing second fiddle to Eastbourne. I revisted Hastings 2 years ago and could not believe the effort the council have made to improve the seafront and tourist attractions. It is once again a place I can feel proud that I came from and the reason that I have decided to relocate out of London. Your website is great, easy to get around and I just love the old pictures. I look forward to your updates.

Having had some of my education at Hastings College of Further Education in the mid seventies and having met my wife and mother of our five now grown up children (four boys and one girl), in this beautiful city, I find my self always indebt to it and to its people. Hastings is great and different by its wonderful people and its natural beauty

A lovely and most informative website. It convinces me that Hasting must soon be the target for a holiday (last time visited in 1989). The picture gallery is awful nice. Keep up the good work.
